Delivery & returns
Every piece is built to order in our Polish workshop and leaves fully assembled. Here is what that means in days, what it costs you, and what happens if you change your mind.
From the saw to your door
Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you — your piece is made after you order, which is why the clock starts in the workshop.
Order confirmed
You get a confirmation the moment you order, with everything you chose written out: size, finish, and the address it is going to. Anything wrong, tell us within 24 hours and we change it before the saw starts.
Made in the workshop
Two to three business days in our Polish workshop. Solid oak is cut, sanded and lacquered, the drawer runners are fitted and the piece is assembled — so it reaches you finished, not flat-packed.
Packed and insured
Corner protection on every edge, foam around the front, and a double-wall carton. Every parcel is insured for its full value while it travels.
Courier, with tracking
You get a tracking link the moment it leaves us, and the courier contacts you about the delivery window. Delivery is to your door.
Where we deliver
Transit times are business days on top of the 2–3 days of production, and every delivery is insured and tracked whatever the distance. The EU and the UK are free; the USA is €160 per order, however many pieces you buy.

If it is not right
30 days to change your mind
Stock sizes can go back within 30 days of arriving — well beyond the 14 days the law asks of us. The piece needs to be unused and in its original packaging, so keep the carton until you are sure.
Write to us first and we confirm the return address. You arrange the courier and cover the return shipping; once the piece is back with us and checked, the refund goes to your original payment method within 14 days.

Anything built to your own measurements is outside the standard right of return — it was cut for your wall, and there is no second home for it. That is the one trade-off of ordering made to size.
It is still fully covered by the 2-year warranty, and we confirm every dimension with you in writing before production starts.

01Is delivery really free?
Across the EU and the UK, yes — on every order and every size, with VAT and delivery already in the price. Delivery to the USA is €160 per order, added at checkout, however many pieces you buy.
02How long before it arrives?
Two to three business days of production, then the transit time for your country from the table above. Germany usually lands 4–7 business days after you order, the UK 6–10.
03Will I pay customs or duties in the UK?
No. UK orders are delivered duty paid — import VAT and duties are settled by us before it ships, so nothing is collected at your door.
04Does it arrive assembled?
Yes. Drawers are fitted, legs are on, and the finish is done. The only tools you might need are for putting two screws in the wall, if you chose a wall-mounted piece.
05Do I need to be at home?
Someone needs to take the parcel — it is a heavy, insured item, so the courier will not leave it unattended. You get a tracking link when it leaves us and the courier contacts you about the window.
06Can I change the delivery address after ordering?
Within 24 hours of ordering, yes — write to info@fukui.store with your order number. After that the parcel may already be labelled, and changing it depends on the courier.
07Can I return a made-to-size piece?
Not under the standard return, because it was built to your measurements. It is covered by the 2-year warranty, and we confirm every dimension with you before we start.
08Who pays for a return?
You do. Tell us within 30 days and we confirm the return address; you arrange the courier and cover the return shipping. Once the piece is back with us and checked, we refund within 14 days.
09What if it arrives damaged?
Photograph the packaging and the piece before unpacking any further and send us the pictures as soon as you can, and within 30 days of delivery at the latest. We arrange a replacement or a repair at our cost and deal with the courier ourselves — you do not chase anyone.
10Do you deliver outside the EU and the UK?
Yes — the USA, at €160 per order. Anywhere else, write to info@fukui.store with the piece and the address and we quote the freight before you order.
