Return & Withdrawal Policy – FUKUI
1. FUKUI Voluntary Return Policy (30 days)
In addition to your statutory rights, FUKUI offers the option to return products within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery, provided that:
- the product is unused, in its original condition and original packaging,
- the product is not made to order (see section 4),
- the product shows no signs of assembly, use, or damage occurring after receipt.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you take physical possession of the goods.
To exercise this right, inform us before the 14-day period expires: info@fukui.store or in writing to the return address above. You may use the withdrawal form in section 6.
After submitting your withdrawal notice, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Important: The right of withdrawal applies equally to sale and discounted products, unless a statutory exclusion applies (see section 4).
3. Transport Costs and Logistics for Large Furniture
Please do not ship returns without contacting us first.
- Voluntary return or statutory withdrawal: return shipping costs are borne by the customer. We can help arrange collection — contact us for a quote.
- Return due to defect or non-conformity: FUKUI covers all collection and return shipping costs.
4. Made-to-Order Products
Products manufactured to individual customer specifications (non-standard dimensions, colour, finish) are excluded from FUKUI's voluntary return policy (section 1) and from the statutory right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
This exclusion does not apply where the product is defective or not in conformity with the contract.
5. Refund Timeline
Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we will process your refund within 14 calendar days, using the same payment method as the original purchase.
FUKUI may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return shipment.

7. Complaints, Defects and Non-Conformity
If you discover a defect or damage upon delivery, please contact us within 30 days of receipt at info@fukui.store with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs. We will respond within 14 days of receipt of your complaint.
